Hunter, I've been reading your blogs on CS education in elementary school and also this quote from last years GHC 2014 conference. I'm currently at the 2015 conference right now and in my opinion it is in absolute yes. In fact was very much the topic of today. But from a different perspective that this post from last year alludes too. Would be very interested in discussing with you if you'd like.
